The location was suburb! We enjoyed Icon Park which was less than a 3 min walk up international drive. The pool and hot tub was wonderful as well. We played volleyball with other guest. It was perfect for our 3 day visit to Universal theme parks. The parks were a 10 min drive and the airport was 15 min. Rooms were spacious and quiet. We stayed for 4 days and being that we were poolside on the first floor I was pleasantly surprise at how quite the room was. Slept like a baby. I read many bad reviews about this place but honestly it was worth every penny. Being that I have worked in the hotel industry 14 plus years I know what to look for. Hot shower, they had, quiet room they had and comfortable bed they had. The Houseman was a delight as I request fresh linens daily. We stayed June 4-8 in a king suite with sofa bed.

The hotel's location is also perfect - it's within walking distance to International Drive, with all its restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was ok. Overall, I highly recommend the Avanti International Resort to anyone looking for a great value hotel in Orlando. We can't wait to come back!"
